Cornish Cultural Celebration in Nowra

Yes, it is on again!  You are welcome to come along.

The 3rd Cornish Cultural Celebration weekend consists of a Conference, Bardic Assembly, Dinner and Celtic concert, Sunday Service, workshops, and Whale Watch cruise.
Over the weekend of 26th to 28th October, 2012

It will bring together a range of speakers from Cornwall and Australia, and  an enthusiastic audience.

Held mainly at the Shoalhaven Campus of the University of Wollongong, at Nowra just up river  from the beautiful Pacific coast 180km south of Sydney, Australia. The Dinner and Celtic Concert are at Worrigee House, and the Whale Watch cruise on the blue waters of Jervis Bay.

The 26th Assembly of the Bards of the Gorsedh of Cornwall in Australia, and the first to ever  be held in NSW, will attract blue robed Bards from across Australia. Spoken entirely in the Celtic Cornish language, with Harp Music and young flower dancers – and a welcome to a new Cornish Bard from the Shoalhaven – it is always an evocative scene.
